Dr. Mohamad Mtairek holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, an MBA in Strategic Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Davenport University. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Administration, Leadership, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Management. His academic experience includes graduate thesis supervision and student research mentoring.
In addition to his academic career, Dr. Mtairek is an entrepreneur, business executive, and management consultant. He is the founder of multiple restaurant businesses and Proactive Management Consulting, where he specializes in leadership development, strategic planning, and organizational improvement.

As Founder and Principal Consultant of Proactive Management Consulting, he advises organizations on leadership development, strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, and small business performance.
Having lived and worked in Lebanon, Côte d'Ivoire, Canada, and the United States, he brings a global and multicultural perspective to business leadership and management education.
