Welcome to my academic website. I am a Business Professor, entrepreneur, and management consultant. My work bridges academic research and industry practice, with a focus on developing practical approaches to contemporary management challenges

Dr. Mohamad Mtairek holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, an MBA in Strategic Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Davenport University. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Administration, Leadership, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Management.
In addition to his academic career, Dr. Mtairek is an entrepreneur, business executive, and management consultant — founder of multiple restaurant businesses and Proactive Management Consulting, where he specializes in leadership development, strategic planning, and organizational improvement.
Having lived and worked in Lebanon, Côte d'Ivoire, Canada, and the United States, he brings a genuinely global and multicultural perspective to business leadership and management education.
Grounded in the scholar-practitioner model — connecting business theory with real-world practice through experiential learning, case studies, and applied problem-solving.
Case studies, simulations, applied projects, and collaborative discussions encourage students to apply theoretical concepts to authentic business challenges.
An inclusive, collaborative classroom environment that encourages active participation, intellectual curiosity, evidence-based reasoning, and professional conduct.
Students develop the ability to analyze complex business problems, apply management theories, communicate effectively, and make informed leadership decisions.
Drawing on experience across four countries, teaching integrates multicultural awareness and diverse leadership contexts into every course.
Individualized feedback, academic guidance, and professional advising help students strengthen their research capabilities, career readiness, and leadership potential.
Over two decades of entrepreneurship, consulting, and business operations provide students with direct access to real-world leadership insight.
A teaching portfolio spanning business administration, leadership, entrepreneurship, strategic management, organizational behavior, human resource management, and digital media business practices.
Supervising undergraduate and graduate graduation projects, research studies, and applied business case analyses that connect academic theory with real-world organizational challenges.
Through mentorship and research guidance, students develop analytical, problem-solving, research, and decision-making skills while examining contemporary issues in business and management.
My research focuses on leadership, strategic management, entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, and small business performance. I am particularly interested in experiential learning, leadership development, and the application of management theory to improve organizational effectiveness.
Since 2019, I have developed Arabic-language educational content through YouTube and other digital learning platforms, producing more than 45 instructional videos focused on leadership, coaching, management, and personal development.
My digital teaching initiatives are designed to make leadership and management concepts accessible to broader audiences by translating academic knowledge into practical, real-world applications. The content emphasizes leadership development, organizational behavior, professional growth, and effective management practices, while promoting lifelong learning and continuous professional development.
Through YouTube educational content, I engage diverse audiences and communicate complex concepts in an accessible, practical, and culturally relevant manner, extending learning opportunities beyond the traditional classroom environment.
